With resumption to normal life peering at the end of the tunnel, one cannot help but pause and ponder what the future of business education will look like in a post covid world. Based on the evolution of the professional business context that goes beyond basic disciplinary knowledge, this talk caters to the current and future needs of this discipline and presents an innovative framework and roadmap for Business schools to follow using the Conceive-Design-Implement-Operate (CDIO) adjusted Business Syllabus and applying standards that go hand in hand. It also explains the challenges facing business education, maps the link between business education and the professional context and reflects on the experiences of different disciplines. Moreover, the discussion introduces a Business Generic Management Curriculum that includes the required knowledge, skills and attributes needed for successful business graduates.
